The specification
Other than a few exceptions, as of January 1, 2015, all 2, 4, and 6-pole asynchronous motors with 7.5 kW or higher that are put on the market in the European Union, Switzerland or Turkey must meet the requirements for energy efficiency class IE3. Other countries and power ratings will follow.
